“I lift up my eyes to the mountains—where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.” — Psalm 121:1-2
Sometimes a simple phrase can carry a lifetime of meaning.
Look Up.
Look up while you’re driving. Put the phone down. Slow down. Be aware of the lives around you. One moment of distraction can change countless lives forever.
Look up to Jesus, our source of hope, strength, and peace, especially when life doesn’t make sense.
Look up to the example Sasha left behind. Though he was only 13 years old, his kindness, faith, compassion, and joyful spirit touched everyone who knew him. He lived with a heart that pointed others toward what truly matters.
And look up at the life unfolding right in front of you. Hug your children a little longer. Tell people you love them. Notice the sunset. Laugh harder. Forgive quicker. Stop simply existing and start truly living. Every single day is a gift, and tomorrow is never promised.
Our hope is that Look Up for Sasha becomes more than a fundraiser.
